Pick the instrument and volume in lots. A standard lot is 100,000 units of the base currency; on EURUSD one pip on one lot is worth $10, on 0.1 lots $1.
Frequently asked questions
What is a pip?
The standard minimum price move — 0.0001 for most pairs, 0.01 for yen pairs, 0.1 for gold at most brokers. With five-digit quotes the last digit is a pipette, one tenth of a pip.
